Fred Hines is Director, Head of Acquisitions at Queensgate Investments LLP, an opportunistic, European real estate private equity fund which seeks asset-rich, operational investments.

Queensgate’s investment track record includes the newly developed 450-key InterContinental Hotel and Residences at the O2 completed in January 2016, the 906-key Holiday Inn Kensington Forum acquired in December 2015, and the 5-star serviced office platform London Executive Offices.

Prior to joining Queensgate in 2014, Fred was Vice President of Hospitality & Leisure at Patron Capital, a European private equity fund. During his time at Patron, Fred focussed particularly on hotel and hostel investment platforms such as Generator Hostels (14 design-led, boutique European capital city hostels), Jupiter Hotels (26 regional UK hotels), and Luxury Family Hotels (7 country house hotels across the south of England).

Mr Hines has a background in investment banking with Merrill Lynch International and Global Leisure Partners LLP, having moved to London in 2007.
